Heart/ache

Hearts don’t really ache.  That’s not where the nerves that convey emotional pain end.  Interestingly enough, your brain doesn’t really ache in that way either.  So neither the symbol of love, nor the actual processor of it, are the locations of the experience of emotional pain.
