It ain’t just developing nations.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates these roundworms, which can cause intestinal illness and blindness, infect up to 14 percent of the U.S. population.

The wrong eight hours.
At 2:30 PM, I finally gave in. I crawled into bed and closed my eyes. I was too tired to begin digging through the boxes of belongings that my parents had stored for me. So I told myself that I’d take a cat nap and get to work later.
